Cancellation policy

Your time is valuable, and we strive to see each patient as close to your scheduled appointment time as possible, and provide you treatment in a personal and unhurried manner. In turn, we request that you make every effort to arrive at the appropriate time for your appointment. If you foresee that you will be behind schedule, please contact us as soon as possible so that we can make the appropriate accommodations. It may mean we can start earlier with another patient who is ready, and see you during the time that they were scheduled.

If you are unable to keep your appointment, please let us know as soon as possible. As you would be aware, appointments are in demand and we have an extensive wait list. If you give less than 12 hours notice, a 50% cancellation fee will apply. If you fail to attend with no notice, a 100% cancellation fee will apply.

Some of our practitioners currently have a wait-list for new patients that is 2+ months long (longer if you need after school hours). We will try to accommodate and see you as soon as possible. If you are in a situation where you need to see a practitioner urgently, please call and discuss this with us.

Medicare visits are accepted under referral from your doctor, and are charged at the standard rate, payable in full at the time of your visit. Medicare will reimburse you to your nominated bank account held with medicare. A gap fee will apply. Current medicare Reimbursement (2023) is approx $58. DVA patients are also accepted, and require a referral from their GP.
