Dr Katie McManus graduated from Macquarie University with a Bachelor of Chiropractic Science in 2005 and a  Master of Chiropractic in 2007. Katie has also completed extensive training and examinations in Chiropractic Functional Neurology and Chiropractic Neuro-rehabilitation by the Carrick Institute. She has undertaken further postgraduate courses in paediatric chiropractic to ensure the most safe and up-to-date knowledge is used to treat children.

Dr Katie McManus also has an interest in biochemistry and nutrition, dedicating time to learning several kinesiology techniques, studying biochemistry and using functional pathology testing to identify genetic and nutritional deficiency conditions, such as MTHFR gene mutations.

Her care of patients involves chiropractic care along with lifestyle modifications, nutritional support and co-management with other practitioners if required. She uses several techniques in practice including Chiropractic adjustments, Applied Kinesiology, Total Body Modification, and Functional Neurology (Brain Balance).

Dr Katie McManus sees the patient and the doctor as a team who need to work together to make the changes necessary to improve your health. Ultimately, it is YOU that governs the future of your body. If you don’t look after your body, where are you going to live?
